Monthly Recap

This month was simply fantastic. Not only did it start with the continued visit from our friends Travis & Jessica, but we also saw lower temps throughout the month so we could finally cool off! We also made a huge step towards the completion of our ambitious backyard goals by getting our concrete patio dug out and poured!! Since our backyard plans are so large, we are going one step at a time and this first step was a big one! Not only was it a LOT of manual labor, it was a huge time commitment for Paul. But WOW the transformation is incredible. Our backyard is already so much more functional with that extra space!!

I also might have bit off a little more than I can chew when it comes to church group involvement, but I’m just rolling with it and enjoying the time spent getting to know others at church and in the community. Loving all of the IRL connections I’ve been making.

Waco Surf with T&J for a fun, chill day mostly in the lazy river
Finished installing wall treatment in master bedroom

Paul left to Alb and started house remodel!

Travel?

We as a couple did not travel anywhere specific this month. Paul traveled to Albuquerque at the very end of the month to start working on the Albuquerque house remodel!

Watched?

Spent most of the month watching Better Call Saul, which I called Breaking Saul almost every time I mentioned it. LOL. Show is amazing, a bit of a slow burn but so so good.

Studying/Bible verse that impacted you the most?

Currently loving my BSF study on the minor prophets. This is my first time doing a BSF study and I’m sad I waited so long! Also studying the Trinity on Wednesday nights and our Anchor Down study is on 1st Peter. I am really enjoying being back in the Bible so much.
