May 2023
This month started really strong, had a low point in the middle and then came back with a vengeance and finished strong.
Lots of things wrapped this month. BSF ended along with some other groups that will be going on hiatus for the summer. Overall the month was pretty chill by way of activities which was nice and the weather was complete perfection. I can’t tell you how many mornings and evenings were spent enjoying the beautiful weather out on our patio.
Because my schedule was a little on the lighter side, I read a lot this month. I also enjoyed the beginning of what is hopefully a very long relationship with my new favorite website…750words.com. I have been writing 750+ words daily since May 3rd and have no intentions of stopping any time soon.
Lunch and hang outs with friends….lots of work done and completed in the back yard, a relatively short cold in the middle of all of that made for an absolutely awesome month.

Studying/Bible verse that impacted you the most?
We finished BSF and I’ve been hungry for some more studying in the “off season”. I picked up some studies from The Daily Grace Co. and have completed the Prayer study which I really liked and got a lot out of and am now starting a new one called Search the Word. Paul and I will be starting one together sometime soon. Right now I’m really in a season of prayer and asking God for wisdom and to give me a heart that is hungry for him. He is answering me in big ways and I’m really excited for the first time in a while about what’s next.
Favorite Memory from the month?
Going to the Charles Schwab challenge will for sure go down as a favorite memory from this month. We had such a nice time and got to see so many of our favorite players. The course was beautiful, we got free food and water, and the whole day was just a really special time and I’m so glad that Paul and I got to go together. I’m really looking forward to making golf more of a focus going forward and hopefully going to more tournaments soon!
